Peacock�s Grand Opening / Ribbon Cutting

Peacock’s Restaurant, formerly known as Peaky’s, held their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, October 24th

Restaurant owner /operator Kostas “Gus” Koumbanio opened the restaurant earlier this summer after its brief closing due to the sale of the former Peaky’s Restaurant.  

Helping cut the ribbon were the original “Peaky’s” restaurant owners and founders Greg & Ann Peacock.  Amongst others in attendance to celebrate the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony were Somerset County Commissioner President Randy Laird, Somerset County Commissioner Jerry Boston, and Somerset County Commissioner Charles Fisher. Attending on behalf of the Town of Princess Anne were Princess Anne Town Commissioner President Mr. Garland Hayward, Town Commissioner Mike Hall, Town Commissioner and Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce President Dennis Williams. Danny Thompson, Executive Director of the Somerset County Economic Development Commission and Ms. Melissa Kelly, Eastern Shore Regional Director for U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen were also in attendance.  Numerous patrons and local supporters attended the gathering as well.

Gus states “I am excited for this new business venture and am being guided by Greg Peacock to bring the original recipes back that the landmark was known for.”

 The Ribbon Cutting was held and organized in partnership with the Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce and the Somerset County Economic Development Commission.
